Can we use Same  lignocaine used  for local anaesthesia for ventricular arrhythmia IV..if yes/ no  why?

• no we cannot use because lignocaine used  for local anaesthesia  contains metabisulphite, which is cardiotoxic
• so we have a different preparation of lignocaine for  IV treatment of ventricular arrhythmia
